We had been to a Team lunch at the newly launched Gur Nihal Dhaba in Madhapur.

Had a wonderful lunch there.After the lunch,we asked Sardarji to click our pic.

I decided to note the '10 minute standing meeting' as a best pratice and blog some pics of the same on our teams blog.

The team members were quite excited about this idea and everyone wanted to get into the picture.

In one of our meetings,Deepu informed us about an initiative in one of his friends' company.

The initiative was called 'The standing meeting'.This meeting was for taking a daily update of the tasks alloted and to make sure that everything was fine within the project in terms of deliverables.

The company used to bid for fixed cost projects which meant that the client could sue the company if there was a delay even of one day.

The team liked this initiative and decided to give it a try.

We have been having the '10 minute standing meeting every day' since the past 10 days and we feel that its a very good practice.

We have been doing well on the deliverables and the team members know at the very start of the day as to what they have to do in that day.

We here at the Online team believe that "Hard work keeps you alive but its innovation that makes life worth it" .

We have had a few new things going here for good.

For starters we have a daily 10 min Standing meeting at the start of the day.

• Early in the day we get to set targets for ourselves.
• This also serves as a platform for us give some suggestions for the best way to complete a piece of work.
• The meeting is also used to determine who has completed how much of the work that was allocated to him the previous day.
• Besides it serves as an initiative for everyone to report in time.

Here are a few snaps of the meeting we have had today.

My Presentation

I had started the Presentation skills imporvement programme after one of teh Client visists.The qulaity of the presentations was not very great and that prompted me to start something on a regular basis which would help in imporving one's presentation skills.

So decided to start with a programme where one frequently gets to present before an audience of around 10-15 people.


Not to give a reason to people to retreat from this programme,I decided to start with an activity where people would talk about themselves for some 15 minutes.

This programme was started in my team as well as various other teams.

It was a great success and I received good responses from various teams.

In my team,I used to give feedback to people after their presentation.

Finally,yesterday it was my turn to present.

I think I presented well and took 37 minutes...some 12 mins more than stipulated.

The online Team Blog

After a lot of activities within the team and newsletters released by other teams,our team thought of having an interface which would give a visibility to the Team and its activities.

I had been using Blogs for this purpose for quite some time.So I decided to create a blog for the Online team.

Here we plan to blog our activities and our learnings.
